St. Luke's Tidings - Pre-Advent 2002
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of St. Luke's Anglican Church will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2003, immediately following our 10 AM worship service. The Annual Meeting is a time to reflect on our accomplishments and plan for the future. What direction or directions would you like to see the church take as we continue to grow?
Vestry Planning Session
The Vestry has voted to hold a Planning Session on Friday evening, November 22nd in the Undercroft of the church, beginning at 7:00 PM to discuss the question of a possible building expansion and the question of a full-time Minister. Both of these events will cost considerable money and the Vestry is requesting that all members of the congregation attend and present their thoughts. Thoughts such as, do we really need a full-time minister and do we really need to expand the church at this time. If we decide to do both, which event should come first? This meeting will give the Vestry six weeks to consider suggestions from the congregation and to prepare proposals that might be required for the Annual Meeting. Please try to attend. We want your input! Discussion is not limited to these two items.Heaven Sent Cook Book Project Pot Luck Luncheon
Barbara and Wayne Richards have been hard at work on their Heaven Sent Cook Book Project. The book is now at the printers and they expect that the cook books will be available by late November. They are planning to kick off sales with a pot luck luncheon right after church on Sunday, December 8th. Make plans to attend and bring your favorite dish. You may advance order your cook books by signing the order form at the rear of the church.
